چکیده
Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr.) may contribute to the agro-ecological transition of cropping systems in Europe, but its productivity is severely affected by summer drought. New drought-avoidance strategies, such as early sowing, require cultivars with high plant growth under suboptimal conditions. This study aims at phenotyping early-stage root and shoot traits 10 commonly grown Europe. Cultivars were minirhizotrons two soil moisture status controlled Root evaluated days after sowing. Field was also analyzed conventional sowing dates. A significant intraspecific variability (p < 0.05) found for most investigated morpho-physiological regardless However, no difference among > terms architectural that mainly water stress. Total length positively correlated dry matter 0.05). Under field conditions, differences between expressed canopy cover emergence, which determines subsequent dynamics. The not related maturity group. characterized depth length, density narrow angle could be considered good candidates cope stress via better exploration. agronomic strategies mobilizing diversity thus tested improve soybean use efficiency response climate change.

Evaluation of Drought Tolerance of the Vietnamese Soybean Cultivars Provides Potential Resources for Soybean Production and Genetic Engineering
Drought is one of the greatest constraints to soybean production in many countries, including Vietnam. Although a wide variety of the newly produced cultivars have been produced recently in Vietnam through classical breeding to cope with water shortage, little knowledge of their molecular and physiological responses to drought has been discovered. This study was conducted to quickly evaluate dr...
متن کاملField Phenotyping of Soybean Roots for Drought Stress Tolerance
Root architecture was determined together with shoot parameters under well watered and drought conditions in the field in three soybean cultivars (A5409RG, Jackson and Prima 2000). Morphology parameters were used to classify the cultivars into different root phenotypes that could be important in conferring drought tolerance traits. A5409RG is a drought-sensitive cultivar with a shallow root phe...

Evaluation of Tolerance of Some Soybean Genotypes to Drought Stress
In order to recognize the soybean tolerant genotypes, a greenhouse as factorial experiment was conducted in form of randomized complete block design with three repetition in 2017 in Damavand. The first factor contained 15 soybean genotypes and second factor included two levels of normal irrigation and irrigation disruption in time of podding. The traits included plant height, reproductive ...
